Worldrise Limited is a joint venture between an established trade-travel operator and a technology company, set up so that training and travel sit in one place.
Two things usually stand between a Bangladeshi trader and a container of their own goods. The first is knowing how the trade works — costing, letters of credit, HS codes, clearance. The second is getting physically to the suppliers, which in practice means a Chinese business visa and a week in Guangzhou.
Most people get help with one and not the other. Worldrise exists because the two problems belong together: the course is taught by people who run the fair trips, and the fair trips are planned for people who have done the course.
The travel side is built on Huzaifa Enterprise, which has been running Canton Fair groups and visa files out of Dhaka for years and holds the IATA accreditation our tickets are issued on. The digital side — this site, the booking platform, the systems our trainees use — is built by HasTech IT Limited.
